Most Prolific Commenters
Back in July I did a tally of the top commenters at the J-Walk Blog. Here's the current data.
Curtis has taken over first place, leapfrogging Toad, who remains in second place. firq, formerly at the top, has moved down to sixth place. wok is clearly making a strong move to overcome Toad for second place.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like...
... Summer! The temperature hit 80 degrees today in Tucson.
What's it like in your area?

President Desk
Experience what it's like to be George W. Get your very own Presidents Desk.
The unique and historical Presidents Desk, or the Resolute Desk as it is sometimes called, sits in The Oval Office of the White House and is used by President Bush.
It is now being reproduced by our company.

Although it looks great sitting on the lawn, I think it's supposed to be used indoors.
I couldn't find the price.

Excel And Google Desktop
If you use Google Desktop and Excel, expect problems.
If you have VBA password protected files/Add-ins the password prompt appears when you close Excel. VBA project remain open if you close a password protected file. Duplication of VBA project names in the VBA Editor.
I used Google Desktop for about five days before I realized that it is not compatible with Excel. Hopefully, the Google guys will get this fixed.

Firefox And Pop-Ups
Ed Bott points out: Firefox stops blocking popups.
One of the main attractions of Firefox is the lack of spyware and associated stuff like popups that you get when you switch. Well at least for me, that's over. I got about four or five Firefox popups last week.
The only pop-up that I see consistently is at the Drudge Report. Actually, it's a pop-under that uses INTERMARKETS POP-UNDER CODE v2.0. I guess that's a good enough reason to avoid that site.
Ed ends with a question:
Anyone want to bet on how long it takes before the first piece of spyware gets installed through Firefox?
