Crutch Cozies

Are you on crutches? If so, check out Crutch Cozies.

Discover the latest innovation in crutch accessories.

Made of a double thickness of soft, durable fabric that slips over the armrest of the crutch, Crutch Cozies (patent pending) provide much needed extra padding, protection against chafing, and a dash of style and fun to the sterile discomfort of ordinary crutches.

The Lynx model, shown here, is only $21.99 per pair. These are faux fur cozies -- not made from a real lynx, so it's OK.

Persuasion

Robert Scoble is a Microsoft "evangelist" for Longhorn. I check his blog in my RSS feeds. Most of this stuff is pretty boring (to me), but every once in a while he write a winning entry. Here's his latest. His more of an essay than a blog entry: How do you persuade? He makes some really good points about salesmanship.

Tall Drinks Of Water

If you like tall women (and who doesn't?), check out Tallest Known Living Women.

Hello there! My main aim was to create the ultimate resource-page for Tall Women (ladies over 5'10"). Did you know that there are plenty of ladies out there who are taller than you? Women like the tallest model in the world, Alana who is 6'10"...

Miniature Airplanes

Last week, I saw this at the Embry-Riddle library: Kalusa Miniature Aircraft Collection.

The world's largest to-scale collection of miniature airplane models is housed here at the library at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. The Kalusa Collection is comprised of over 5,500 pre-flight, private, commercial, military and rocket aircraft models.

The models are built to a 1/18 inch-to-foot scale. Consistent use of this scale provides all aircraft in the collection with accurate size relations to one another. Each model is also painted with the detailed markings characteristic of the aircraft.

Walk-Off Home Run

For excitement, there nothing like a bottom-of-the-ninth game-winning home run. Ryan Klesko just did it for the Padres, to defeat the Arizona Diamondbacks. Wait a minute... in a few months, I'll be a DBacks fan.
