Alan Ralsky: Proud to be the Spam King
Did you ever wonder what
spammers look like? The photo on the left depicts a world-class spammer named
Alan Ralsky.
There's an excellent chance that you've received dozens (perhaps hundreds) of unwanted email messages from this guy. You can read a recent interview of him here. As you will see, spamming millions of people can be a very lucrative job -- a perfect occupation for an ex-convict like Ralsky.
"I'll never quit," said the 57-year-old master of spam. "I like what I do. This is the greatest business in the world."
You can read more about this delightful fellow at the Spamhaus Project.

Movielink is Flopping
A few weeks ago I mentioned the new Movielink service, and compared it with Circuit City's ill-fated divX service. Well, the reviews are in, and they are not exactly positive. See the Seattle Times, the Washington Post, and Wired.
I think the Washington Post review summed it up best:
Just because you can do something on the Internet doesn't mean you should.
