Interview With Evil Klown

Today, we feature a Klown.

How did you first hear of the J-Walk Blog, and how long have you been reading it?

I barged in here about three/four years ago through a Google search result. I really liked the blog and decided to read it all the way back to the beginning. I got stuck after reading a few month's worth and I emailed you asking how to go further back. You responded right away and I continued reading. After I started reading comments, I noticed the libs needed help (but they'd never admit it,) so I stayed to offer my services.

What's the significance of your screen name?

I started a recurring theme for Halloween as the Evil Klown and it got WAY out of hand.

Do you read this blog from work or at home? How many times a day?

From my home "office." I read it pretty much every day and depending on how much help is needed in the comments, I might pop back in fifteen (or more) times a day. I'm selfless like that.

Optional questions (choose any five from the list)

Basic stats.

54, I live very close to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Married 22 years (to the cutest/best cook I've ever seen.) I was in the Army for 3 years, got out and went to college in California. The next 20 years I worked for a golf course management company as a golf pro, then a course manager, then a regional director. When I left them, I started my own small landscaping company.

Weirdest photo of yourself?

I was dressed up for Halloween ... and everyone knows that Evil Klowns must have a paddle with which to dispense justice. I call it The Paddle of Justice.

Have you ever met any of the other commenters? Would you like to?

Not to my knowledge. Sure ... all except Spokane Mary (j/k) but I'd need some scotch before I met SOME of the libs on here.

What other blogs to you follow?

I don't follow any like I do this one but I guess my other top three would be, Moonbattery, NewsBusters, and ZombieTime.

Which are your least favorite topics covered here?

If I had to pick one, it would be the religious stuff but most of those are entertaining as well. I just look at the religious stuff as "too easy" ... you know ... "A dead horse called, he said 'Stop beating me.'"

Who is your favorite J-Walk Blog commenter (other than yourself), and why?

It darn sure ain't Spokane Mary (j/k.) Too many to mention ... too many smart people on here. If I had to answer, in no particular order, RichardInCalifornia, Bisbonian, Shel-tone, Meg-mac, Spokane Mary (not really,) Onecos, gdmIV, ThePointerOuter. I'm leaving some out but I have to stop. Pardon me if I misspelled any.

What is your favorite type of music?

I love most types of music. My favorite band "of all time" is the Beatles. I hated them when I was younger because I was new at music and their stuff was just too hard to figure out and play .... and if you really practiced hard to play it, you couldn't sing it. When I play with my friends, we play songs like Hotel California, Jailhouse Rock, The Weight, Man of Constant Sorrow, Secret Agent Man, Folsum Prison Blues -- just all kinds of stuff.

What foods do you absolutely hate?

I'm a bit of a picky eater but I REALLY hate liver, raw seafood, caviar, and most weird stuff. You know, all the stuff libs like. In fact, I've been a conservative so long, my parents knew I wouldn't eat it if it said "Libbys, Libbys Libbys, on the label, label, label." Speaking of food, I'm up to 75 pounds lost on my diet (just broke the 200-pound barrier) which I started in earnest when you posted about the EHAM diet. I had lost a little a week or two before that but I kicked it into high gear when you posted that.

If you were to be buried when you die, what would you like to have printed on your tombstone?

"I'm in here, trying to stomp more carbon"

Which celebrity would you most like to have a beer with?

NOT Spokane Mary. Perhaps Sarah Palin (if I could pick the outfit.) Oh hell, with that rule, throw Spokane Mary in there too.

Why don't you play the banjo?

I play piano and guitar. If I WERE to take the time to learn a new instrument, it would be the sax. That way, you can wear whatever weird hat etc you want and nobody will call you on it.
