FEMA Trailer For Rent
On eBay: Mardi Gras 2006: Live Like A Local.
We would like to extend an invitation to be our guests this Mardi Gras season in our recently delivered
FEMA trailer. All we ask is for a donation to the Preservation Resource Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to the rebuilding and restoration of New Orleans historic homes and neighborhoods.
Our guests' accommodations are located on historic Magazine Street in the ally of a once grand house recently damaged by the hurricane, within walking distance of all the major parade routes, blocks from the infamous Convention Center, with a Red Cross Center on the next block (very handy in cases of dehydration). As of today, the trailer is equipped with running water (both in and out). We are still waiting on electrical...
The trailer sleeps six teetotalers or ten revelers comfortably; however, we'd recommend three or four lightly packed guests.
The current bid is $250 (for three nights).
(Thanks Friction Plan Fan)
