Creationist Feud

Nothing better than a good old-fashioned international feud between competing Creationist camps. It's Creation Ministries International (Australia) vs. Answers in Genesis (US). Details: Why CMI-Australia is holding AiG-US legally accountable for its actions.

We have great heaviness of heart over the need to do what we have done, although we are certain that it had to be done, for righteousness' sake. It has come as a last resort, and seeking to be faithful to the whole counsel of God' at each step. And the door remains open for urgent repentance/restoration, of course.

We have also sought the biblical ёsafety in a multitude of counsellors', including the Boards and senior staff of all six national CMI offices in seeking to honestly, before the Lord, be faithful to the interwoven biblical principles involved.

It's all about money, of course.

The legal action primarily concerns AiG's unrepentant actions re dropping and switching' Creation magazine and the Journal of Creation in the USA in the manner they did. These actions, as confirmed by the conclusions of the Clarrie Briese enquiry, were unethical and unconscionable towards both the Australian ministry and tens of thousands of subscribers, causing great (tangible, measurable) damage in the region of hundreds of thousands of dollars to our (our supporters') ministry.
