What People Are Buying
(with comments)
I just checked my October Amazon Associates Report, which shows items sold as a result of clicking on one of my links. Here are some of the highlights:
-
Adult Brain Costume Hat (2
hats) - Centipede Giant Prop
- The Out-of-Towners DVD (A GREAT movie)
- One-pound Muscle Replica
- One-Pound Fat Replica (shown here)
- Saint Anthony, Patron Saint of Bacon
- Package of 10 Replacement Kenmore Micro Bags Upright Model 5068
- Bacon Air Freshener
- Moustache - Six Way
- The 99 Most Essential Vivaldi Masterpieces (25 copies)
And the item with the highest payout (I got $12.60)...
All told, I sent $2,965.69 worth of business to Amazon. And for that, they paid me $197.01. That's 6.64% for doing nothing but typing a few characters on my computer. Yes folks, you really can earn big money at home in your spare time by typing.

I bought the 99 Essential Vivaldi. Do I get a kickback on my purchase? You know I had to shell out big money for that purchase. - By Shel-tone. Comment posted 02-Nov-2009 @07:40pm:The "•Package of 10 Replacement Kenmore Micro Bags Upright Model 5068" is me. You are welcome.

What? Nobody bought a copy of the R. Crumb Genesis?
So if I say Lotus Elise will that result in a Google ad that somehow a person will click on and decide to buy through Amazon resulting in a fatter J-Walk pay envelope for yours truly next month? - By Curtis. Comment posted 02-Nov-2009 @08:07pm:

Maybe offer PUP through Amazon too (to anyone checking out your books), more aggressive marketing in general (and Internet marketing in particular) may help your PUP sales problem.

- By ElMoney. Comment posted 03-Nov-2009 @08:21am:Judging from the picture, I would say they are buying giant crack rocks. Yes, giant crack rocks or one-pound fat replicas - it is difficult to say.
