Who needs the Yellow Pages when you've got this: Yahoo Local Search Desktop Application.

This windows desktop application uses Yahoo! Local Search Web Services. Just enter search query, zipcode and radius. It will convert all matching results in Excel (CSV) format and let you save it to local file.

It took about 10 seconds to get a list of all plumbers within a 10-mile radius of my zip code, and view them in Excel.
