Guitar Shaped House
(with comments)
At Google Sightseeing: Rock n Roll.
There's nothing more Rock n Roll than a swimming pool in the shape of a guitar, so I wonder which rock god owns this pad near L'Estartit in Spain. Actually, I take that back - having your whole house built into the shape of a guitar is truly Rock n roll, so hats off the the anonymous owner of this guitar house in Fayetteville, Georgia.

- By TimS. Comment posted 16-Aug-2006 @09:03am:That's called the "outhouse", Trimoon.
- By wally the duck. Comment posted 16-Aug-2006 @09:04am:Is that a straight-grain spruce roof?
- By . Comment posted 16-Aug-2006 @09:19am:Elvis Carden built a similar house, but I don't know if it is the same one you have an image of: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/elvislcarden

Welcome To Elvis L Carden The builder and designer of the world's First GUITAR HOUSE - Fayetville GA! - By Mean Jean. Comment posted 16-Aug-2006 @09:56am:There is a guitar-shaped guitar store in VA on I81. It's kinda cheesey looking, though.

- By . Comment posted 16-Aug-2006 @12:17pm:My goodness....I am NOT stringing that guitar.
And I do believe a banjo head would make a better roof..no soundhole! :) - By . Comment posted 16-Aug-2006 @05:13pm:Isn't that a banjo barn across the road from the main house?
- By . Comment posted 16-Aug-2006 @07:24pm:Good eye. I didn't notice that banjo barn!
- By Woody. Comment posted 16-Aug-2006 @07:29pm:I've been in the house! It's not far from where I live and I had to respond to an emergency there many years ago. I vaguely remember it being a little chopped up on the inside, and it's looking pretty run down, now. We have some eccentric people around, including Evander Hollyfield whose mansion is a little over a mile north. His July 4th fireworks show is better than those in a lot of towns.
- By . Comment posted 29-Aug-2006 @02:23pm:Elvis Carden and I are friends and vietnam war brothers. He built this guitar house for his parents and his mother lived there for several years. He is now in the process of renovating it.
