That was very good for a white girl with "skinny legs and all" as Tom Robbins would say. Interesting style of dress as well. Known as Treeplanter Chic, in these parts. I'm guessing Dinsdale has fallen in love all over again.

It was very mesmerizing. I only lasted the fist minute, but transfixed non the less.

This little gal can really dance - the music isn't my favorite, but she's so talented it's a treat to watch her.

And Dinsdale Pirahna, thanks for posting the Tina Turner clip - those days were the best!

OK, Dinsdale. Wrong again. Coffee table? Enjoyed the clip.

Actually, I thought she was pretty cute, too, Rance. Great dancer.

When does the snow skiing start in Penticton BC?
  20. By Imagineer. Comment posted 02-Nov-2007 @07:18pm:
I have no idea, Dinsdale. Being obliged to work on snowshoes, the last thing I want to do on my days off is go *play* in the snow. But I asked my wife--who loves x-country skiing--and she says usually early December at Apex. Same for Big White near Kelowna, a bit farther inland. The snow is just starting to stick at 1500m or so--about the same elevation we're working at most days. A few flurries today but too early for winter boots and only about 135 days until spring! Looks like it could be an excellent year for our world famous Okanagan ice wine--given a serious cold snap in another couple of weeks.

When I went to school in Walla Walla some Indian friends I knew at the time who were from Omak used to Ski at Penticton.
I never made it that far north... I thought you might be close to there? Been thinking bout doing some downhill there.

I'll be 50 next April but I still got the music in me and love a little downhill.

I've got the music in me, too, Dinsdale, but can't remember the last time I danced. Not like this guy in The Evolution of Dance. 53 next April. Makes me feel almost geriatric knowing I'm getting as old as Curtis. My acupuncturist says that at my age I'm in really good shape--for a gimped-up wreck.

Apex is less than 45 minutes from our house. Big White, about 2 hours.
If you do plan to get up this way, be sure to let me know. I'll go watch you downhill ski from the lodge deck.

Apex thats the one... They have a couple of trails that wind around the side of the mountain and take forever to finish thats what I like.
Maybe DEC. Will depend on how my Nov sales add up

The girl's name is Sophie Merry - she's Irish and plays bass in a band called Commissioner Gordonia

    I prefer her second video.
