Dueling Banjos In Excel
(with comments)
They said it couldn't be done. But it has been done: Dueling Banjos In Excel.
For best results, right-click and save the file to your hard drive. You must enable macros. Excel for Macintosh? Don't bother downloading. It uses Windows API functions.
Yeah it's stupid, but let's see you come up with a better song. That workbook has everything you need (and there's more info here). Just enter the notes and durations for your song. If you come up with something good, send me a copy. Whoever sends me the best song gets a free copy of Excel 2007 For Dummies Quick Reference.

- By . Comment posted 07-Feb-2007 @06:24pm:No problem, concertinist. Just replace the strings of 200s with alternating 180/220s, and the 400's with alternating 380/420s. Piece of cake.

Yeah, so intuitive to the most casual observer that I didn't even mention it. In version 2.0, I'll have an option to do notes inégales automatically. - By Blayne. Comment posted 07-Feb-2007 @08:32pm:All 'geek' to me...wish I knew more...how about cocaine?

You can't get a result of TRUE with this formula:
=(94.4 - 94) = (94.8 - 94.4) - By . Comment posted 09-Feb-2007 @01:46am:Ladies and Gentleman I offer my rendition of Johns Cages piano piece 4'33". I'm sure you all appreciate how long it took to code this in excell but for a copy of Excel 2007 For Dummies Quick Reference it was worth the effort ;o)
