Pope Won’t Waive Second Miracle
(with comments)

Proof that the Pope is a man of honor: Pope will not waive second miracle for Teresa

Pope Benedict XVI is unlikely to accelerate the process of declaring Mother Teresa a saint by waving the mandatory second miracle that can be attributed to her, according to the former head of the Missionaries of Charity.

"No, the Holy Father will not waive it," former MC superior-general Sr Nirmala, who succeeded Mother Teresa to the post, told PTI when asked whether Pope Benedict is likely to do away with the requirement of a second miracle for a person to be 'canonised' (declared a saint).

The first miracle involved the disappearance of a giant stomach tumor. It will be tough to top that one, but I think they'll come up with something.

We all know the Pope hates mothers/women. No surprise there.

You've just got to cooperate, that's all. Don't fight it.

You have to be poor. John is a multi-millionaire.

Ratzo should canonise the nasty little witch. Her behavior was consistent with his: prey on the poor/ignorant & extend their suffering.

That is a little over the top gdm IV. Unlike others in her church she did try to help the poor.

It sounds over the top if you aren't aware of what she did and how she did it. Christopher Hitchens wrote a book about her & there is a (BBC I think) documentary on Youtube.

She's really not what you've been lead to believe.
