Book Sold With Disclaimer
(with comments)

Kevin Roose enrolled in Liberty University and wrote a book about his experiences: The Unlikely Disciple: A Sinner's Semester at America's Holiest University.

Amazingly, the Liberty University bookstore sells the book. But they inserted a disclaimer into every copy on the shelf.

discipledisclaimer

It is probably the only book review committee disclaimer in the world that mentions Tinky Winky.

The Teletubby's got more press from these nutjobs ... heck, the TV show would be forgotten by now if it weren't for them.

    Long live Tinky Winky!

Well I'll give the a little credit for selling the book. Most likely they're being realistic that people at the university will want to read it and by selling it, they can insert their own rebuttal.

I am fairly certain that Tinky Winky is not on the Popes list of approved names.

Don't rule out the fact that they could make a buck or two off of it by putting it in their bookstore.

Readers should be skeptical about the veracity of any (bolding mine) information contained in . . .

Maybe they should have proofread their disclaimer a bit better - they might wind up hoist on their own petard.
