Sorry I’ve been such a stranger this past year. So much going on it seems I’m more married to my work than my wife anymore. But I’m still around. I’m clueless about the G+ thing. But if someone can give me some direction I’ll take the time to delve into it. Thanks for the few years of good humor J-Walk. I am fortunate enough to have met you and Pam, along with Mr and Mrs Toad, and I’ll never forget you Curtis!
The wife and I may be moving to New York in the next few months. She may be attending a university on Long Island and since I’m working over here…it just makes sense. We’ll keep the house in Alaska for periodic visits home.

I discovered your blog 9 years ago or so, and it is one of the 3 last blogs that I still read daily (Metafilter & Reddit are the others, but they are collective efforts). We started our communication on the wrong foot, but your blog was among those that inspired me too to start blogging and to carry it on for seven exciting years of daily prolific postings of my own. Found this blog about ‘04 and have looked in almost daily since. It is one of the best parts of the day. I would post a pic if I knew how; still do not get the ‘circle’ thing but will sometime.
