Faith-Based Comic #7
(with comments)
I like it when I don't even have to Photoshop 'em.
Billy appeared in the next day's strip, and his head wasn't even bandaged. So I think he's alright.

- By Doug. Comment posted 18-Nov-2009 @06:23pm:I like Billy's ------- -------- -------------------- ------ -- - -- ----- -- - - --------- -------- ------ Family Circus theme.
- By . Comment posted 18-Nov-2009 @09:26pm:I did sound for a convention where Bil Keane spoke. What a religious scuzznag.

- By . Comment posted 19-Nov-2009 @08:33am:I don't have to read his comics, and I won't be taxed for his delusions. Unlike the religion of Global Warming.
- By BillB. Comment posted 19-Nov-2009 @11:30am:Jules- It's the first comic I read in the Sunday morning paper. The anger helps me wake up.
I couldn't never understand why it still exists- the geriatric group that actually enjoys this crap will find the print too small to read.
The Dysfunctional Familiy Circus still lives on:

- By BillB. Comment posted 19-Nov-2009 @02:46pm:My apologies for the over gerneralization there Spokane Mary- Both my mother and mother in law (pushing a young 80)
clip 'n mail these to us regularly- one even saves them in a scrap book.
I recall when Charles Shultz passed away thinking "Why didn't you take Bill Keane!" - By . Comment posted 19-Nov-2009 @04:29pm:I was actually commenter #3 last night.
My response was evidently so vitriolic, john deleted me!
THAT's how much I like Family Circus. - By . Comment posted 20-Nov-2009 @11:49am:Apparently, Bil Keane used to live in Scottsdale. When I was little, the Sugar Bowl restaurant and ice cream parlor had several of his cartoons on the wall. Sometimes he mentioned the Sugar Bowl in the published cartoon. He also made some custom ones for them.
So - that was a long time ago and the Sugar Bowl was old when I was little - is Bil Keane still alive??
