Recent Books

I'm just updating my book list.

• Sunshine Sketches Of A Little Town - Stephen Leacock
  A bunch of interconnected stories about people in a little town in Canada. Written about 100 years ago, it holds up well and is a delight to read.
• 72 Hours - Shannon Stacey
  A Kindle freebie novel that looked kind of interesting, and wasn't really too bad. I eventually realized it's a new genre: chick thriller. Too much romance for my tastes.
• The Middle Of Things - J.S. Fletcher
  The second mystery I've ready by this British author, and this was better than the first one. I have two more in the queue.

And here's one I started, but could only make it through 12%:

• The Man Who Laughs - Victor Hugo
  I'm pretty sure there's a good novel here, but any decent editor could have cut out at least 50% of the irrelevant text.
